Schoology

System administrator, once for the district

  1. Go to App Center › My Developer Apps › Add App and choose LTI 1.3 App.
  2. Name it pythoncompiler.io and copy these values into it:
Domain/URL
https://pythoncompiler.io/api/lti/launch
OIDC Login Init URL
https://pythoncompiler.io/api/lti/login
Redirect URLs
https://pythoncompiler.io/api/lti/launch
JWKS URL
https://pythoncompiler.io/api/lti/jwks
  1. Under LTI Advantage Extensions tick Assignment and Grade Services and Deep Linking. Placement: Course Materials. Privacy: send the name of the user who launches the tool (not the email). Leave Launch app in Schoology unticked, so activities open in a new tab (programs that ask for input need it).
  2. Save, install the app to your organization, then open its Options › API Info and paste the Client ID below.

Teachers

  1. In a course, open Materials, press Add Materials and choose pythoncompiler.io.
  2. Pick the problems, exercises or quizzes. Each one becomes a graded item.

These steps follow Schoology's own documentation; we have not yet tried them on a real Schoology. If a step looks different, tell us what you see.
